De Ruyter Training & Consultancy BV (DRTC) has been active in the world of maritime safety training since 1991. For many years, in cooperation with Veiligheidscentrum Zeeland (v/h Trainingscentrum Vlissingen) we have been providing training for many shipping companies and offshore companies on Sea Survival, Fire Fighting and – prevention, First Aid and Safe work procedures including Working and rescuing at height and from confined spaces.
With the advent of wind farm construction in the North Sea, the Global Wind Organization (GWO) has laid down a standard for the training of personnel working in this sector.
DRTC completed a unique training object in the2nd half of 2018 to realistically provide Basic Safety Training. This complete training is designed according to the Global Wind Organization (GWO) guidelines. This Basic Safety Training (GWO) is designed for personnel working in the wind industry, onshore and/or offshore, involved in the construction, maintenance and/or service for onshore and/or offshore wind turbines and wind farms.
After completing Basic Safety Training (GWO), you will hold the following certificates:
- First Aid
- Manual Handling
- Fire awareness
- Working at Heights
- Sea Survival
