Manual Company Firefighter Training

General:

To meet the needs within the region, DRTC, in cooperation with the Safety Center Zeeland and/or H2K Education & Training, has developed this one-day training course, which pays particular attention to practice. In the practical exercises, trainees are assessed both individually and on teamwork.

Target audience:

The course is designed for individuals who wish to be trained as company firefighters.

Objective:

During this course, the participant is taught both theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to firefighting, fire control and hazardous materials accident response.

Prerequisite(s) for participation:

In possession of a valid medical certificate for the use of breathing air for firefighting purposes.

Course Content:

The course consists of the firefighting and hazardous materials accident response sections.

Course Duration:

Twenty working days, including practical exam spread over 4 working weeks.

Certification:

Diploma Manschap Bedrijfsbrandweer IFV.

Validity:

Unlimited provided operational skills can be demonstrated through regular practice.

Number of trainees:

Minimum 8, maximum 12 participants.

The location of the training depends on where the participants are based. This can range from Vlissingen, Schiedam, Moerdijk and/or Dordrecht.
