About DRTC Curaçao

De Ruyter Training & Consultancy (DRTC) delivers maritime and safety training in Curaçao. From this location, we support both local and international professionals with practical training programs aligned with the requirements of the maritime sector and safety organisations.

Within the Caribbean region, Curaçao is a key training location for DRTC. Its stable climate and maritime environment make it highly suitable for conducting realistic exercises such as firefighting and survival at sea.

Training opportunities in Curaçao

In Curaçao, the focus is on a wide range of certified safety training courses. Commonly delivered courses include STCW Basic Safety Training, STCW Refresher (Combi Refresher), Advanced Fire Fighting, Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats, Personal Survival Techniques, Basic Fire Fighting and Elementary First Aid.

DRTC also provides BHV (company emergency response) training in Curaçao, including BHV for hotels, Head of BHV, BHV Coordinator, Team Leader and on-site BHV training. These courses focus on both the execution and organisation of emergency response within different sectors.

We also deliver Boatmaster training in Curaçao, including Boatmaster 1, Boatmaster 2 and Boatmaster 3. These courses are specifically aimed at professionals in the maritime and nautical sectors.
