GWO Sea Survival Refresher

The purpose of this GWO – Sea Survival course is to provide participants, through theoretical and practical training, with the basic knowledge and skills to act safely and take appropriate preventive actions in all aspects of offshore operations from shore to the installation vessel or WTG and vice versa, both during normal operation and in an emergency situation in an offshore wind energy environment.

GWO – Sea Survival Basic practical exercises are conducted in the indoor pool with approved training equipment, resulting in comfortable, realistic training with the best results.

Admission Requirements:

  1. You must be physically able to attend this course.
  2. In connection with use of personal protective equipment, Your body weight may not exceed 120 kilograms.
  3. You are in possession of Working at Height certificate.
  4. If you are taking medicines you must mention this at the time of booking. If it is found that the use of the drug is limiting, the booking will be cancelled free of charge.

Certification:

If You have attended the course and the required competencies have been marked with a pass, the certificate for the relevant modules will be issued.

Validity:

The certificate is valid for two years.
After 2 years, you must attend a 1-day refresher course.

The course is recognized by the Global Wind Organization ( http://www.globalwindsafety.org )

Winda Registration:

All participants must register as participants in Winda prior to the start of the course.
Registration is mandatory if you want to work in wind energy.
After registration, you will receive a Winda-ID.
The Winda ID must be included with the course booking.

After certification, we will link your certificates to your Winda account.
