GWO Working At Heights Refresher
The objective of the Working At Heights course is to provide participants, through theoretical and practical training, with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to use basic personal protective equipment and to work safely at heights and perform safe and comprehensive basic rescue work in a remote wind turbine environment in accordance with the BST module Working At Heights.

The GWO – Working At Heights course includes the following:
– Introduction to Working At Heights
– Regulatory
– Harness (PPE Evaluation)
– Vertical fall protection
– Fall Protection Lines
– Work position trap lines
– Backup systems
– Workplace risks and hazards
– Emergency procedure
– Rescue Equipment
– Rescue training (basic)

Admission Requirements:

Admission Requirements:

  1. You must be physically able to attend this course.
  2. In connection with use of personal protective equipment, Your body weight may not exceed 120 kilograms.
  3. You are not afraid of heights.
  4. If you are taking medicines you must mention this at the time of booking. If it is found that the use of the drug is limiting, the booking will be cancelled free of charge.

Certification:

The course was developed based on GWO Sea Survival module component Working at Heights.
If you want to obtain GWO certification, you must take the full GWO Sea Survival training course.
This training is part of the GWO Sea Survival, however, only a certificate of participation is provided.

Validity:

The certificate is valid for two years.
After 2 years, You must attend a one-day refresher course.
It is valid for two years.

The course is recognized by the Global Wind Organization ( http://www.globalwindsafety.org )

2 consecutive days basic course, 1 day refresher course
Prices indicated on the website are for current calendar year and are indexed annually.

Winda Registration:

All participants must register as participants in Winda prior to the start of the course.
Registration is mandatory if you want to work in wind energy.
After registration, you will receive a Winda-ID.
The Winda ID must be included with the course booking.

After certification, we will link your certificates to your Winda account.
