GWO – Fire Awareness
The objective of this GWO – Fire Awareness course / training is to provide participants, through theoretical and practical training, with the basic knowledge and skills to prevent fires, make initial and appropriate judgments when assessing a fire, manage the evacuation of personnel to ensure that everyone is safely evacuated and registered in the event of an uncontrollable fire and, if deemed safe, extinguish an initial fire efficiently using basic firefighting equipment held in hand.

The GWO – Fire Awareness training also equips participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to respond appropriately in an emergency and enhance their safety through proper use of personal protective equipment, emergency equipment and procedures.

The target audience for the training is personnel working in the wind industry or related fields who need to obtain their Fire Awareness certification.

Practical exercises performed in indoor and outdoor conditions with approved training equipment, resulting in a comfortable workout with the best results.

Admission Requirements:

  1. You must be physically able to attend this course.
  2. In connection with use of personal protective equipment, Your body weight may not exceed 120 kilograms.
  3. You are not afraid of heights.
  4. If you are taking medicines you must mention this at the time of booking. If the use of the drug is found to be a restriction, the booking will be cancelled free of charge.Certification:

If You have attended the course and the required competencies have been marked with a pass, the certificate for the relevant modules will be issued.

Validity:

The certificate is valid for two years.
After 2 years, You must attend a one-day refresher course.
It has a validity of 2 years.

The course is recognized by the Global Wind Organization ( http://www.globalwindsafety.org )

Winda Registration:

All participants must register as participants in Winda prior to the start of the ( GWO ) Fire Awareness course / training.
Registration is mandatory if you want to work in wind energy.
After registration, you will receive a Winda-ID.
The Winda ID must be included with the course booking.

After certification, we will link your certificates to your Winda account.
