GWO BTT Hydraulic
The Hydraulics module (BTTH) is an essential part of the GWO Basic Technical Training (BTT). In this module, you will acquire knowledge and skills to perform basic hydraulic tasks in a wind turbine environment. Whether you are new to the wind energy industry or already have some basic knowledge, this training will help you become aware of the hazards and risks associated with working on hydraulic systems, and how to control these hazards.
Objectives: Upon successful completion of the BTTH module, you will have acquired the following skills and knowledge:
- Explaining the basic principles of hydraulics.
- Discuss risks and hazards associated with hydraulic work.
- Describe the function of different types of pumps.
- Performing control of start/stop pressure of a pump.
- Describe the function of different types of actuators.
- Explaining the function of different types of valves.
- Describe the function of accumulators and perform inspection and pre-loading of them.
- Describe the function of different types of sensors.
- Recognize components that provide oil transfer.
- Handle procedures for handling hydraulic oil.
- Recognize and identify various components on a hydraulic diagram.
- Accurate measurement of hydraulic pressure.
Certification: Upon successful completion of the BTTH module, you will receive an internationally recognized GWO certificate. This certificate confirms that you have the required knowledge and skills to safely perform hydraulic tasks under the supervision of an experienced technician. Your earned certificate is registered in the Winda system, allowing you to demonstrate your qualifications to potential employers.
Course Duration and Times: The Hydraulics training course lasts a total of 8 hours and 55 minutes. The maximum duration per day is 10 hours. Please note that the prices listed on our website are indexed annually.
