At DRTC, we understand the importance of regular training and repetition to maintain the skills and knowledge of FAFS Squad Leaders. That is why we offer the Refresher FAFS Squad Leader course, a training specifically designed to update your competencies as a squad leader within the FAFS.

Objective
The purpose of the Refresher FAFS Squad Leader course is to review and update your knowledge and skills as a squad leader. We focus on strengthening your leadership skills, improving your ability to coordinate and manage a FAFS team, and ensuring that you are up to date on recent developments in the field of emergency response.

Course content

The FAFS Squad Leader Recap course emphasizes important aspects relevant to squad leaders in emergency situations. Some of the topics covered include:

• Updating knowledge and legislation related to occupational emergency response
• New developments and best practices in leadership and coordination
• Review of communication protocols with team members and external emergency services
• Evaluate and improve risk management within the FAFS organization
• Practical exercises and simulations to maintain and improve skills

Certification
The FAFS Squad Leader course is designed for experienced company first responders who aspire to take on the role of a squad leader. The course is also suitable for individuals responsible for setting up and managing the FAFS organization within their company.

Validity
The diploma is valid for one year from the date of issue of the diploma. If the refresher certificate is not obtained within three months of the expiration date at the latest, the diploma of basic training will have to be obtained again.

Course duration

The Refresher BHV Ploegleider course has a duration of one day.

8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
