With the construction of wind farms in the North Sea, the Global Wind Organization (GWO) has established a standard for the training of personnel working in this sector.
In the second half of 2018, DRTC created a unique training facility to provide the Basic Safety Training in a realistic setting. This complete training program is designed according to the guidelines of the Global Wind Organization (GWO). The Basic Safety Training (GWO) is intended for personnel working in the wind industry, onshore and/or offshore, involved in the construction, maintenance, and/or service of onshore and/or offshore wind turbines and wind farms.
Upon completion of the Basic Safety Training (GWO), participants will receive the following certificates:
- First Aid
- Manual Handling
- Fire awareness
- Working at Heights
- Sea Survival
