In addition to providing training for shipping, offshore, and nautical programs in collaboration with Veiligheidscentrum Zeeland (Training Centre) Vlissingen, De Ruyter Training & Consultancy BV (DRTC) has for many years offered first aid (EHBO) and company emergency response (BHV) training to numerous companies in Zeeland.
Ensuring workplace safety in the Netherlands is based on the vision that safety at work is above all a matter of risk awareness and continuous learning. In a nutshell, that is the mission and vision of the Dutch Institute for Company Emergency Response (NIBHV), the knowledge institute for company emergency response, corporate emergency organizations, fire safety, and occupational safety in the Netherlands. To realize this mission and vision, NIBHV works closely with dedicated, certified trainers and instructors for company emergency response (BHV) and corporate emergency organizations (BNO).
The new NIBHV Quality Mark replaces the “old” mark because over the past ten years new insights about quality have emerged. It also places even greater emphasis on the quality of instructors.
Ultimate quality guarantee
To qualify for the Quality Mark, trainers must meet strict admission requirements. After the award of the Quality Mark, they are regularly monitored through audits and practical visits. This makes the NIBHV Quality Mark the ultimate guarantee of quality. Employers who choose a certified trainer choose a safety course that is up-to-date in content and delivered by skilled, qualified instructors.
New insights on quality
Working safely is vital for companies, organizations, and their employees. Based on this principle, NIBHV’s new Quality Mark makes an important contribution to workplace safety. With this independent, fully updated Quality Mark, NIBHV gives trainers the opportunity to stand out from the competition while simultaneously raising the overall quality of safety courses in the Netherlands. In the end, Zeeland companies and their employees benefit from this; first and foremost, all the people who can count on a safe working environment.
