About this course

GWO WAH-R + MH-R + FAW-R + SS-R

Introduction
During this combined refresher course, participants refresh their previously acquired knowledge and skills in accordance with international GWO standards. The course combines theoretical instruction with realistic practical exercises, with a strong focus on risk awareness, safe behaviour, communication, and teamwork.

Participants practise using personal fall protection equipment and carrying out rescue and evacuation procedures. They also refresh ergonomic working techniques, fire prevention, and the use of portable fire extinguishing equipment. In addition, the course covers offshore safety, survival at sea, lifesaving equipment, and safe conduct during transfers and emergency situations at sea.

Objective
The objective of this refresher training is to renew and strengthen the participants’ existing competencies. After completing the course, they will be able to work safely at height, use fall protection equipment correctly, and carry out basic rescue and evacuation procedures. They will also be able to handle loads safely and ergonomically, identify fire risks, extinguish an initial fire, and respond appropriately during offshore transfers and emergency situations at sea.

Target Group
This course is intended for technicians, maintenance personnel, and other professionals working in the onshore or offshore wind energy industry who need to renew their GWO certificates for Working at Heights, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, and Sea Survival.
