With the introduction of the Manila amendments, a number of courses are subject to refreshment, namely Basic Training (BT), Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF) and Proficiency in Survival Craft (PSC). The period to refresh is five years.
Seafarers holding the certificate Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boat must repeat this course every five years.
When participating in one of the safety training, one must be in possession of a valid medical certificate for shipping. Appointed examining doctors can be found on the Inspection website.
In addition, a number of new courses were introduced, including Security Awareness (SA) and Designated Security Duties (DSD). Security-related courses do not include a refresher term.
In addition to the regular courses, we can also provide on-site training. For further information, please contact us.
All STCW courses are recognized by the Inspectorate (ILT).
